Review: Vichy Bi-White Deep Corrective Whitening Essence.

Vichy hosted a fun event recently to educate us beauty
bloggers & editors about everything and anything related to skincare.  Present at the event were Dr Jaishree Sharad,
who is a well known dermatologist and author of “Skin Talks”, Mr Sandeep
Kripalani (Director, Active Cosmetics Division) and Himani Chandna (Head
Marketing, Active Cosmetics Division) from Vichy. We had an in depth discussion
on how we can make the most out of our skincare regime and have healthy glowing
skin. After the event we were gifted a bunch of goodies from each line that
Vichy has. I was delighted to see The Bi-White Deep Corrective Whitening
Essence in the gift bag. I have been using the Bi-White face cleanser for more
than 6 months now and I absolutely love it. Many of us have the misconception
that whitening products are only used to get a fairer skin tone, if truth be
told it is also used to even out the skin tone and decrease the appearance of
dark spots and uneven skin tone.

After using the Bi-white whitening essence for couple of
weeks I have noticed a subtle difference in my skin tone. The dark spots caused
by popping of acne and sun are less visible. The texture of the product is
light weight and absorbs into the skin within seconds. I was glad to see that
it suited my oily combination skin and didn’t break me out. I feel it is
important to use to entire range to get the maximum benefit. Since I have the
face cleanser by the same line I used that, then follow it up with the
whitening essence and finish the routine with a moisturizer and/or sun screen.  The only downside to this product is the heavy
price tag.
