Review: Elle 18 Color Boost Lipstick

This is the first Elle 18 product that I have tried and I am very excited to review their Colour Boost Lipstick Collection. First and foremost I would like to begin with the thing that surprised me the most, the price! I mean 150 for a lipstick? WHAT! Trust me you don’t even get tinted lip balms for this price. I always knew this brand was quite affordable but Rs.150 is honestly quit inexpensive for a lipstick.

The Elle 18 colour boost lipsticks come in a pink and black plastic bullet with a cute girl design in front. The packaging is quite similar to their previous “Colour Pop” range; expect that those came with a black cap. For such cheap price the packaging is quite sturdy, not once did the cap open up in my jam packed bag. Make sure you hear the “click” to ensure its shut properly.  They have a ton of shade selection to choose from, everything ranging from nudes to orange and from pinks to reds. The texture of this product is smooth and buttery. It glides on the lips with ease. Honestly I thought these will work just like a tinted balm but these lipsticks are quite pigmented. You will have to swipe two to three times to achieve the desired intensity of the shade. These lipsticks easily lasted for 3-4 hours on me, which I am quite happy about.

Guys for this price these babies rock! I didn’t find even one con in them. I would highly recommend it.
