| How to fix your broken powder makeup. |
I have thrown away so many of my blushes or compact because it was broken, I tried using the broken make up but it was too much of a hassle. Half the time it would land straight on the floor and that was the end, its over.
As you can see in this post I had a broken compact powder that got me thinking I need to fix it asap ! So here is how π
All you need is your broken powder makeup, Rubbing alcohol also known as Isopropyl Alcohol And in India its known as doctorβs surgical spirit.
The brand i’m using is called Surgiclin and only for 33 Rs π This bottle will last you forever π I know theres one more brand that makes rubbing alcohol called Doctors Choice.
This works for any powder based makeup, such as Compact powder, bronzers, Blushes, eyeshadows, etc.
I broke my favorite compact powder and instead of buying a new one, I decided to fix mine and save my money.
Step 1 : Add a few drops of alcohol into your broken powder makeup.
Step 2 : Β You will see that the alcohol made the powder soft, into a paste, so With the back of a small spoon put the base back in shape.
Step 3 : Let I dry over night.
Done ! π
If you are wondering, Wont the alcohol dry out my skin? Then no it won’t because the alcohol will evaporate completely. The odor will also go away by next day.
