The best thing about blogging is that I get to try out new products and if it works I introduce it to you all. Recently I tried out this new and innovative product called “Gravitale Kookkal Grape Scrub”. This scrub is made from especially cultivated grapes grown in the company’s high-altitude vineyards and development platform, Domaine Kookkal, in the Nilgiris Mountains of South India. The area where the grapes are cultivated is one of the best because of its unique biodiversity, climate, flora and fauna.
I’ll start the review by talking about the packaging. The scrub comes in a plastic jar, which is travel friendly. For the price you pay the packaging is a bit of a let down. The fragrance of the product reminds me of (pardon me) Amchoor powder. I remember my mom uses it in food and it smells a lot like that. I kind of like it because there is something very comfortable and familiar to the fragrance.
Coming to the product, the texture is what surprised me the most. Unlike majority of the scrubs available in the market this comes in a gel form with grapes peels in it. To use this product, you take a small amount and slather it on your body, wait for 10 Min’s and rinse it off. When I tried it for the first time I was a little skeptical because I have never used a scrub without any exfoliating particles but to my surprise it worked wonders. It actually left my skin feeling soft, hydrated and supple. The key active ingredients contained in the Gravitale Scrub are polyphenols and alpha-hydroxy acids which is great in stimulate the metabolism of the skin. This scrub is so gentle than it can be used on your entire body, including your face.
Another thing I like about The Gravitale Scrub is that its completely free of sulphates, parabens, soap, petroleum derivatives and free of animal testing. Its all natural and made with good quality raw ingredients. Gravitale’s Scrub can be compared to Caudalie’s Crushed Cabernet Scrub, as well as L’Occitane’s Angelica Exfoliating Gel.
This product is towards the pricey side but over all I am very happy with this scrub and have been using it regularly. To know more about Gravitale Kookkal Grape Scrub, head over to – www.purplle.com/gravitale.
